The Director of Analytics position assists in directing Analytics and Business Intelligence activities within the business. This role ensures the development of strategy to optimize data-based decision making within the organization. The position is a key contributor in delivering information, analytics and solutions to the business. The Director of Analytics is responsible for partnering in the transformation of the business that truly differentiates and competes on Analytics. The position utilizes data-based decision making to direct new feature developments and enhancements for business products.

• Creates and manages Analytics objectives
• Develops, monitors and reports on key performance indicators for the business
• Identifies actionable insights, suggests recommendations and influences the direction of the business by effectively communicating findings to cross-functional groups
• Recommends, supports and evaluates testing initiatives designed to improve the business products and profitability
• Leads data mining activities in order to better understand customer behavior
• Oversees the maintenance of Google Analytics
• Manages complex business requirements for simplification and delivery to technical teams
• Prioritizes Analytics efforts based on strategic focus and needs of business
• Manages day-to-day operations of Analytics team
• Performs other duties as assigned

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Business or related experience/training
• At least 7 years of Analytics and Business Intelligence experience
• Exceptional analytics skills including the ability to transform large amounts of raw data into informed business recommendations
• Experience managing and leading cross-functional teams
• Proficient skill sets with MS Office products
• Excellent verbal and written skills
• Highly organized, extremely detail-oriented and proficient at managing multiple projects at a time
• Excellent prioritization and management skills with the ability to lead, facilitate, motivate and organize
• Self-motivated with the ability to adapt to change, learn quickly and creatively solve new problems
• Ability to negotiate and settle differences quickly and professionally
• Excellent customer service skills
• Ability to productively participate as a team player and/or individual contributor
• Preferred Experience and/or Education: Knowledge of horse racing, pari-mutuel wagering, gaming, sports wagering and/or social marketplace industries. Experience in a start-up environment is a plus. Graduate degree in related field

• Compensation is commensurate with experience and includes a competitive base salary and benefits
• Base Work Location – Position can be based at the Washington, PA location. Position classification as “Remote Work” is available. Note: Due to pandemic and based on business direction, positions are remote work full time until otherwise notified.
